Australian Visitor Visa

Australian EmbassyIf you are wanting to visit Australia then you can apply for an Australian Visitor visa. This visa will allow you to enter Australia for three, six or twelve months at a time. This visa is known as the Visitor visa (subclass 600) which allows you to visit Australia for tourism or business. Speak to the Australian Embassy in your country for more information.

Australian Visitor Visa

The Australian visitors visa costs range depending on how long the visa is for. The application fee would be between AUD135 to AUD340 per visa application. Certain countries do get cheaper visas such as the eVisa which is an electronic visa for Australia. Note that if you are Chinese and on a tour with a registered travel agent from the People’s Republic of China then you can also apply for the Visitor Visa (subclass 600). Your tour operator would know how and where to apply for your visa for your tour to Australia.

Altogether the eVisa is applicable to nationals from the following countries and you can apply for this visa online. It is highly recommend that applicants hold a valid passport for at least six months when entering Australia. A visitor visa can usually be granted only to an applicant with a valid passport.
