If you are wanting to visit Australia then you can apply for an Australian Visitor visa. This visa will allow you to enter Australia for three, six or twelve months at a time. The Australian visitors visa costs range depending on how long the visa is for. The application fee would be between AUD135 to AUD340 per visa application. Certain countries do get cheaper visas such as the eVisa which is an electronic visa for Australia. Note that if you are Chinese and on a tour with a registered travel agent from the People’s Republic of China then you can also apply for the Visitor Visa (subclass 600). It is highly recommend that applicants hold a valid passport for at least six months when entering Australia. A visitor visa can usually be granted only to an applicant with a valid passport.
