Australian Consulate in Houston

Note that the US has been divided into regions by the Australian Embassy. Each Consulate manages a certain region of the US. The Australian Consulate in Houston now manages both consular and passport services for Australian citizens residing or travelling in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

All Australian passports must be lodged in person as mailing-in will not be accepted. There is also an overseas application surcharge of AUD 100 (Adults) & AUD 50 (Children) for passport applications. See the listing on Australian Passport applications in the US for more information. Passports and notarial acts at the Australian Consulate are by appointment only in Houston and can be scheduled by calling +1 (832) 962 8420. The Australian Consulate in Houston is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday through Friday except on American and Australian public holidays.
